Professional practice

As University Secretary / Director for Student Experience, Jon is the member of the University Management Team with responsibility for ensuring legal compliance, and regulatory alignment with the HE operating framework.  He also leads the Student Experience Directorate, which includes those services which support the student academic experience, specifically those offered by Student Services, and Campus Services.  It also includes the Quality and Standards team, who manage the processes which assure the academic standards of awards, and the quality of the student experience.  The purpose of the Directorate is thus the establishment, development and maintenance of a distinct student experience for all AUB students, meeting the needs of specialist creative arts education and providing a learning environment which is supportive and safe, and enables each student to fulfil their potential.
