Jennifer studied at the University of Winchester and graduated in 2009 with an Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) degree in Psychology, before commencing a career in administration and secretarial support. This has included working in the fields of banking, insurance, healthcare (NHS and the Health Protection Agency) and entertainment/hospitality. Jennifer joined the Arts University Bournemouth in May 2013 as the Faculty Executive Officer supporting the Dean of the Faculty of Media and Performance. Shortly after this, she became the Executive Officer and Assistant to the Deputy Vice Chancellor.
In her day to day role, Jennifer provides assistance to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC) in the execution of her duties; this covers a wide range of activities using secretarial and administrative technical skills and knowledge. Jennifer acts as the first point of contact for the DVC’s office and, as a representative of the institution, often liaises with VIPs, Governors, other dignitaries and University stakeholders. Jennifer also forms part of the University’s Secretariat supporting the Vice Chancellor’s Office.
