I am a graduate of De Montfort University B A (Hons) and Bournemouth University (PG Dip/MA)  . After winning the RSC(nsdf) Buzz Goodbody Award for directing, followed by short internship at the RSC I became an associate director of the Leicester Haymarket Theatre and Artistic director of the Studio Theatre. I have over twenty professional theatre credits to my name including: Theatre Powys, Hoot Theatre Company,The Soho Theatre, Theatre De Juene, Strasburg, Palais De Musica, Valencia, The Rondo Theatre. I have also worked as a director for Channel 4 club X.  Work at  Drama Schools and Universities include The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, The Manchester School of Theatre. L’ Escuela del Actor in Spain and The Arden School of Theatre Manchester where I was Head of School. Academic work includes work for Cambridge University (Trinity Hall), York University,  University York Saint John, De montfort University and Manchester Metropolitan University.   Areas of specialism include: The Stanislavsky System, Method Acting, Shakespeare, Acting for Camera and Acting through Song.

Professional practice

Currently I am studying for a Post Graduate Certificate in Academic practice which is due for completion in September. This is my first year at Arts University Bournemouth and I have taught at level 4 and 6 on the Acting Fundamentals module, Negotiated Practice and Recorded Performance. In January I directed The Good Person of Szechwan by Bertolt Brecht at The Dance Pavilion Studio.The coming term I will be part of the teaching them on the Shakespeare level 5 module.
