Charlotte Wilmot

Biography

Charlotte is responsible for the day to day operational management of the Library including health and safety, the implementation and review of projects and staff management. She is also responsible for the development of the audio visual collections within the Library. Charlotte has worked at AUB since 2003. Prior to this she worked at Oxford University in the Taylor Institute Library and as a member of the supply team at Gateshead public Library service.

Professional practice

Charlotte was a member of the Academic and Research Libraries Group South West from 2012 to 2018. ARLG-SW organises training and networking events for Library professionals working in FE and HE in the region.

Charlotte was also a member of the Discovering Academic Research, Training and Support Conference organizing committee from 2015 – 2018.

The 6th Conference focused on the basics of research support including games developed to engage academics in open access research, and legal issues. The conference was held at Dartington Hall, Totnes from the 24th – 25th May 2018.

The 5th conference concentrated on the move to digital and developing research support. The Conference was held at Dartington Hall, Totnes on the 2nd – 3rd June 2016.
