Oxford Point
Oxford Point halls of residence opened in 2018 and offers ensuite rooms in shared apartments and self-contained studio apartments.
Every room/studio has its own shower room, as well as a double bed, plenty of storage and study space. Ensuite rooms share a kitchen per flat and studios have their own kitchen area – all are equipped with modern appliances and dining facilities.
The rooms/studios vary in size and have differing views dependent upon location within the building. There is also a range of different rooms within the apartments and the rents reflect these.

The social spaces in the halls include a roof terrace and main social space on the third floor. Residents can also enjoy meals together at the communal breakfast bar, with use of an oven and microwave or chill out on the many corner sofas and comfy seating areas. A large study room offers booths and long tables for individual or group work as well as multiple screens, so students can share ideas and see their work on the big screen.
Halls staff and security are on site 24 hours a day. There is an on-site launderette and lockable mailboxes.
Located in the Lansdowne area of Bournemouth, Oxford Point is within easy walking distance of the town centre with its popular restaurants and shops as well as the beautiful beaches and Bournemouth Pier. There is no parking available but travel to campus only takes 15 minutes by bus, with the Unibus service providing regular direct buses from halls to campus. See Oxford Point’s location on a map.
2020/21 Rent for Oxford Point
Deposit is £150.00 for all students. Payable upon booking.
