My research concerns memory and film, how it can show and write memory and History, through examining what is its cultural and experiential effect. I’ve written on contemporary film culture (MIRAJ and sequence journals) organized and spoken at symposia and conferences (Artists’ Moving Image Practice in Britain: From 1990 to Today, Whitechapel Gallery, and Screen Time/Screen Space – Cinema and/as Gallery Art, AAHC) and curated events (Contact: A Festival of New Experimental Film and Video, Apiary Studios, and Assembly: A Survey of Recent Artist Film and Video in Britain 2008-13, Tate Britain).
