The results of a study conducted on young people’s access to drugs showed that over 90 per cent routinely recognised each drug’s name/slang name with many drugs and by the third survey attracted almost 100 per cent recognition.

Working with official data obtained under Freedom of Information legislation from the U.K. government and together with other data sources, is a database which aims to organise and categorise common slang used to refer to illegal substances. is an ongoing database website and will continue to be updated with further types of illegal substances and further terms.
