BA (Hons) Textiles graduates have been talking to AUB after their London summer shows. Here Lilli Rochford-Smith discusses her work

Can you tell me about your final work?

The concept behind it is walking in the landscape and it’s based on the Scottish Highlands. In 2012 I qualified to be a life coach and from that I learnt a lot about anchoring and how to change your state of mind and state management. I learnt how I could do that for myself and for me that was walking as a concept. I have been doing that a lot and then I’ve taken inspiration from that and what I want my collection to do is to be able to be like a trigger to change people’s state of mind by the work itself. So if they have an element of the interior space that has my print in it – to see it and then change your state of mind – that’s the main concept.
