Saturday 21st April 2018 (10am – 6pm)
Five BA (Hons) Creative Events Management Event (CEM) students, collectively known as Pop-Up Bournemouth, are launching an innovative multi art-form exhibition this April at Horseshoe Common, Bournemouth, BH1 1NL.
The aim of this free event is to promote the area’s growing creative scene by showcasing the work of local artists. Held inside a selection of shipping containers, this ingenious event, aptly named ‘Contained’, will be a day of innovation and celebration.
A COLLABORATIVE EVENT
‘Contained’ will comprise an art exhibition, creative workshops, collaborative art, live graffiti, and a roster of DJs. And for those looking to shop, prints and vintage clothing will be on sale.
Organising the event are third year students Chloe Farr, Susannah Benik, Hannah Cornish, Nicole Mather, and Chloe Goddard. Between them they have obtained a wealth of knowledge in event management during their time at AUB, from venue layout and marketing, to health and safety and finance.
Want to help fund this event? Please send your queries to the Pop-Up Bournemouth team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Plus, keep on track with the event’s latest developments by following Pop-Up Bournemouth on Instagram and Facebook.
