Costume and Performance Design Graduate Alex White
BA (Hons) Costume and Performance Design graduates have been talking to AUB after their London summer shows. Here Alex White discusses his work
Can you tell me about your work?
I started off doing a theoretical project for a spring show called Julius Caesar. I came up with designs for that – the brief we got was for a modern take on it so I took my own interpretation of what modern means and did it a bit differently. I think that’s more fun to do and also more fun to watch.

How have you enjoyed your time at AUB?
I’ve really enjoyed it. I’ve learnt a lot and grown a lot in terms of my work. It’s been really challenging.
What are you planning to do now you’ve finished?
I’ll find a job and work for a year and maybe do an MA after that. If the job’s good enough I’ll stick with that. I think AUB has given me the skills to be quite diverse in the job I want to go for.
