BA (Hons) Photography graduates talked to AUB after their London Summer Shows. Here Megan Staple discusses her work
Can you tell us a bit about your work?
I’ve created six final pieces, two light boxes, two frames and two diamond shaped frames. It’s all on abstract photography – I like to emphasise work that looks as abstract as possible. It all looks computer-generated but it’s not edited at all.
How have you found the last three years at AUB?
It’s been incredible, it’s honestly been life changing. I’ve gone from doing black and white landscape photography to the most abstract, colourful work I can imagine. I’ve completely changed course and the AUB staff support you on every step you take.
What are you doing next?
I hope to be working as a Photographic Assistant so I can remain working in a studio and work up from there to start creating more of my own work.
