Join AUBSU this afternoon for a 90-minute open lecture that aims to create a dialogue around gender inequality.
According to the World Economic Forum, the gender gap won’t close until 2186. In honour of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, ‘Overcoming Barriers’ aims to raise awareness about the ongoing quest for gender equality, while celebrating the achievements of women.
This event comprises short talks from some of AUB’s most inspirational female academics, creatives and professionals, who will each discuss the setbacks they have had to tackle. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
