The Venice Biennale is a celebration of the finest global architecture. Last year the main exhibition, Fundamentals, was curated by Rem Koolhaas and explored the nature of the fundamental elements of architectural expression. The event sprawls across the city, with small interventions occurring throughout the island. Going on trips like this and experiencing other cities is so valuable to the study of architecture as it helps to open your mind.
