After 3 months of swimming in texts, I believe I have managed to write an insightful and engaging essay that centres around my practice. The most challenging aspects, in my opinion, have been the most rewarding. Frantz Fanon, a Afro-Caribbean psychiatrist, philosopher and writer played a large role informing my research, but it took quite a lot of analysis to properly digest his very complex ideology, which centred around race and post colonialism.
