Model figures are an important part of making any model set. They allow the designers/directors to see and gauge the size and proportion of their set to the characters and costumes. The first part of making the figure is the wire armature or skeleton. Next is the super-sculpey skin which can modelled in almost any way. The figure is then baked in a kiln or oven, after that they can be painted and given faces and so on.
