“Half way through my second year is when I got into still life photography. I started making the stuff myself, which is where my stop smoking campaign started, and it was all made out of cardboard. That was where my work properly started, then that progressed and I properly got into set design and tried to branch out from the paper and use other materials. That bought me all the way to my final major project.

In a perfect world, I’d like to be able to make everything out of paper and craft it myself, and then take the images myself. All my work, I like to make from scratch completely. It does take a long time, but it is so worth it at the end. You can see all the work you’ve put into it, the making of it, the retouching and the photography. It’s what I love to do.”
