In this workshop, we focused on experimental sound methods and how we could use these to compose music. We made our own instruments by using objects in the space around us. For example, a bike wheel and a box was part of our orchestra. We used a chance method and John Zorn’s Cobra to create our sound. This workshop opened new ways of composing music without the need for classical music tuition.
