“I’ve designed a non-gendered collection, because I believe that’s where fashion is going at the moment. This is a coat that I’ve been working on. The collection is based on a utilitarian, Berlin aesthetic so it’s quite bleak, with grey work wear and denim. But it’s a celebration as well; this year is the 25th anniversary of Germany being a reunified country.

I’ve made two dresses or tunics and a crop top. Tunics especially are an easy platform for guys to wear dresses. I’m looking at gender politics, social politics and how your sex is biological but gender is how you feel. I went on the Foundation study trip to Berlin and fell in love with it.

I’m not local, but I’m so glad I came here to study the Foundation course. I’ve had an amazing time and I’ve loved it. I’m going to Bath Spa University to do Fashion Design.”
