“My project is a feminist piece. I was looking at jobs in which men get paid more, or where they have more of an opportunity to get to the top, or where there may be sexual harassment. I have been looking at artists like Cindy Sherman who do self-portraits, and these images are of me dressed up for different careers.

I wanted to make them as ridiculous as possible to reflect how ridiculous the situation is, and I was keen not to look at the female form in a sexualised way.

I have a place at the University of Brighton to do photography. I have really enjoyed my time on the Foundation course at AUB. I’m so glad I did it; I’ve learnt so much and have been become much more confident. Everyone who does it says it was their best year.”
