On the final stages of this project, I experimented with various techniques and materials to understand their qualities, before refining them into samples. I focused on materials that would reflect ‘deadly plants’, such as fleshy surfaces like latex and leatherette. This made my visual primary research vital. To develop sophistication in my sampling, I used embossing, gold foil and delicate print patterns.
