The idea behind the aesthetics stemmed from showing a visual transformation from the Phoenecian letter ‘Aleph’ (essentially the first letter), to the Cyrillic ‘A’ that we know today. The Phoenecian alphabet can be found within the logo itself. The title of Prosaic is a combination of ‘prose’, and ‘mosaic’ – naturally. It also means lacking imaginativeness or originality, which aptly fits in with the concept.
