Throughout the year we have had dedicated drawing days where I have been able to push my drawing and mark making abilities. It has encouraged me to look at my methods and techniques in a variety of ways, thus abstracting my studies to create even more exciting marks and textural drawings in order to develop into textile designs. In addition, trips to London, Poole and Paris have provided a range of sources for imagery and primary research. Drawing and mark making has provided the fundamentals to each and every project throughout first year and is something I aim to continue and build on even more for future projects.
