Chris Campe received an MFA in Illustration from the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg and — with funding from a Fulbright grant — an MA in Visual and Critical Studies from the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. She lives in Hamburg and works as an illustrator and artist with a focus on lettering and text-based art, she writes about gender representation and drawing as a form of queer visual activism, and she teaches design theory at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg.
