Volunteer Event Crew

Work experience and internship Volunteer – Published 10th Feb 17

We are looking for enthusiastic, active volunteers to assist with the delivery of the RNLI Sandstorm event taking place on Bournemouth beach. This fantastic opportunity involves a range of roles from obstacle stewarding to cheering on the competitors.  No event experience is necessary; we need fun loving, active people who are willing to get stuck in. Getting involved offers you a chance to gain event management experience, meet new people, have fun and help raise vital funds for the RNLI!

It’s a one day, ticketed event (taking place on Sunday 26 March 2017) with competitors tackling 20 obstacles spread out over 5km of sand providing a deceptively laid-back location for a punishing course that will test endurance, mental strength and teamwork. A maximum of 500 competitors will participate in the first year of the event. For further info visit
