BCHA are looking for Team Leaders to join our NCS team for our Summer 2017. As a Team Leader you will be motivating and encouraging a team of young people through a variety of challenges and team building activities. As well as learning new skills that employers love, you’ll be helping 15 to 17-year-olds to have an experience of a lifetime.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills, especially those interested in gaining invaluable experience working with young people.
As an NCS Team Leaders you will be leading a group of 15 to 17-year-olds through the NCS programme, helping to ensure they learn new skills, become inspired and make a difference in their communities.
Each NCS course comprises of 4 weeks where you will deliver and support a range of activities designed to help develop life skills of young people. This will be on a residential and non-residential basis.
- Week 1 – Residential based at an Outdoor Activity Centre
- Week 2 – Residential at University Halls
- Weeks 3&4 – Non-Residential, planning and delivering community based projects
In return you will receive full support and guidance from our Senior Team Leaders along with paid training.
