Skill Shop is creating a platform for showcasing the UK’s most exciting skill-learning experiences.
In order to launch with a bang, we are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working creative to power our social media and outreach program. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of a well financed startup at the beginning of its story and be instrumental in its success.
The role will see the candidate planning and building our tone of voice, content and social media presence in collaboration with our team. In addition, they will be responsible for curating interesting experiences around the UK, making contact and bringing them aboard our platform. The right candidate will be extremely proactive and creative in their approach and will be given the support, training and opportunity to grow as part of a small but incredibly capable team.

The right candidate needs an in depth knowledge of social media, an understanding of what makes a good brand and brand story and most importantly, buckets of enthusiasm.
Experience of Adobe Creative Cloud is a bonus but by no means essential. Experience of SEO best practices and advertising on Social Media and PPC are desirable. Overall, we are looking for a quick learner with a can do attitude over someone with proven experience.
We are looking to start someone at 3 days a week for a probationary period and then move towards a full time position with training, benefits and salary review.
