The Preparation for Higher Education Summer Show celebrates the achievements of our Foundation Diploma students, providing an exciting platform for them to showcase their final project work to the public. The Preparation for Higher Education Show is the first part of the Summer Shows for 2019.

The Foundation Diploma is an exciting one year full time course. It provides the opportunity for students to engage with art, design and media methodologies and encourages risk taking and experimentation with new materials, approaches and principles. The course gives a strong creative grounding and works to develop an individual’s creative practice within a specialised environment.

It develops students as independent learners, helping them to diagnose their specialism and build a strong portfolio in preparation for progression to Degree level study.

The work exhibited in this show demonstrates the diverse range of Final Projects that are undertaken by Foundation Diploma students from its seven pathways:

3-D Art
Craft and Design
Costume and Textiles
Fine Art
Graphic Design
Film & Animation

AUB’s Summer Shows are a celebration of our graduates’ innovative work from across our creative community. You can take a look back at some of the people and projects from last year’s BA and Prep HE Summer Shows.
