Camouflage is an international project commissioned by BA (Hons) Fine Art, Arts University Bournemouth, in collaboration with Nuova Accademia Di Belle Arti (NABA), Milan, Accademia di Belle Arti G.Carrara, Bergamo and Visual Container Video Art Web Channel.
The purpose of this project is to open an international network through which students can acquire experience of exhibiting and meeting Italian artists.
This is a showreel of selected work that was exhibited at the Viafarini Gallery Contemporary, Milan November 2019 and featured on Visualcontainer, website.
Established in 2014, The Camouflage project was born from the desire to create an opportunity for discussion between those who practice, teach and explore fine art video work in different countries and contexts.
The focus of Camouflage is to investigate the relationship between Fine Art performance and video.
The Italian side of the project has been created by Marisol Malatesta and Simona Da Pozzo, they have selected and curated the works in collaboration with AUB and the other participating Universities.
This project has been successfully running for the past six years, with AUB also offering a two-week artist residency for two final year BA (Hons) Fine Art students.

THEGALLERY AND AUB
TheGallery works with courses right across the university on a variety of exhibitions, events and projects. Camouflage is another example of one of these projects that we have worked on with the staff and students from BA (Hons) Fine Art.
When working on a collaborative project we provide advice and support for the curatorial and technical aspects of the exhibition, as well as advice on event and project management.
TheGallery provides a national and international public platform for the arts within the sub-region as we promote the University’s shared passion for excellence in education, industry and the sector.
