AUB Architecture have installed an exhibition at ArtSway by a team of young architectural graduates from Fielden Clegg Bradley Studio, about the making of The Observatory, a temporary artist studio.

The project was created for SPUD and the exhibition coincides with The Observatory relocating to Lymington for three months.

Students Joe Walker, Matt Green and Steve Best worked with BA (Hons) Architecture Course Leader Simon Beeson, to move and install the specially designed exhibition. Simon tells us: “This is the latest collaboration between AUB, ArtSway, and SPUD. All three organisations are interested in promoting collaborative practice. The design team for The Observatory exemplify this spirit.”

The exhibition includes videos of the three artists, who were resident during the three months The Observatory was located in Winchester. In December the exhibition will move to Bridport, Dorset and parts of it will pop-up again at AUB in the autumn term.

The design team consists of Charlotte Knight, Mina Gospavic, Ross Galtress and Lauren Shevills, all at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, London, and Devon based artist Edward Crumpton.

The exhibition is open 10am-4pm everyday 18th July-2nd August 2015.
