Artistic and cultural exhibitions are being displayed in the Bourne Gallery at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) following sponsorship from the Arts University Bournemouth.

This will provide the local community and visitors to the town with an accessible indoor venue to showcase local, national and international talent.

Steve Piper, BH Live Director of Venues said; “The Bourne Gallery at the BIC is a great place to exhibit art; we have already welcomed successful exhibitions attracting good visitor footfall. With stunning views across the bay and display areas sponsored by AUB, our reputation as an art exhibition venue is spreading fast! We are even welcoming visitors new to the BIC who are enjoying the exhibits and the comfortable seating and views from our in house Terrace Café.”

Suzie Evans from AUB added: “This new space will make art accessible for everyone, from those who live and work in Bournemouth to all the visitors that the town attracts each year. It will also give our students the opportunity to showcase their work in a contemporary gallery setting, which will not only highlight their incredible creative talent, but will also provide them with an insight into exhibiting their work in a professional manner for public viewing. We are very proud to be sponsoring this creative initiative.”

Artistic and cultural exhibitions are planned throughout the year with summer exhibitions to be announced in the coming weeks on www.bic.co.uk
