Curated by Violet M. McClean, Suddenly Last Sumer brings AUB’s creative community together in one exhibition, including work from Preparation for Higher Education, BA (Hons) Degree and Postgraduate courses.
Work from BA (Hons) Graphic Design alumna, Tammy Johal, is featured in the exhibition. We caught up with her at this year’s D&AD New Blood: “I went to a refugee camp, called The Jungle, in Calais to gain first-hand experience and meet refugees. My project compared our lives in the UK with refugees around the world.”
BA (Hons) Textiles alumna Lily Goulding’s award winning work is also included: “Taking an unconventional source of inspiration from crumpled and damaged scrap cars, my final project ‘Heavy Metal’ was inspired by the surfaces, shapes and textures found on the beat-up metals.”
Suddenly Last Summer is exhibiting on campus 5 September – 19 October.
