Re-animating the Snowman will be exhibited at Talbot Heath School
as part of Spellbound, a festival of literature and illustration for children
and young adults.
This exhibition showcases the art from The Snowman and The Snowman and The Snowdog and uncovers unique material from the archives to tell the story of animation through this beloved children’s classic.
Featuring original pre-production work this exhibition provides a behind the scenes insight into the creation of the films. It also features material from The Snowman and the Snowdog, the sequel created to mark the 30th anniversary of the original landmark broadcast.
The animations The Snowman and The Snowman and the Snowdog will both be shown along with a related exhibition activity.
The festival will offer young readers, writers and illustrators, from the age of 4 to 18, the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of talks and workshops that will inspire a love of reading, writing and illustration. The programme will include a number of illustration and writing workshops run by Arts University Bournemouth.
This exhibition is part of Spellbound Festival at Talbot Heath School in collaboration with Arts University Bournemouth.
