What Would Alice Do?

Dance Student Production in Pavilion Dance South West – Published 25th Oct 17

What Would Alice Do? is a piece of creative and dance theatre based on the personality and character traits of the first and best known female heroine in children’s fiction.

Venue: Pavilion Dance South West

Performed by second year BA (Hons) Dance students and directed by Course Leader, Jane White, this piece aims to offer advice for any unreasonable, demanding and downright confusing situation.

At first sight, Alice is a prim and proper child, every inch the little lady, but like everything in Wonderland, there is more to Alice than meets the eye.

Alice is a rule breaker and a challenger of authority. What can we learn from her about honesty, adventure and making your way in a world that doesn’t always (ever!) make sense?

The production is a collaboration between BA (Hons) Dance students and BA (Hons) Costume and Performance Design students.
