The International Art, Design and Media Intensive Course (IADM) is a preparatory course in Art, Design and Media. On this course, you’ll have the option to study an integrated programme of English language tuition, alongside the creative aspects of the course.
This course is ideal for students who can’t start a one-year Foundation Diploma in September, or who need additional English language development.
Students can develop their creative skills and produce a professional portfolio of work ready to progress on to one of our degree courses within just 23 weeks.
Tuition fee and discounts
IADM – £9,000 or £8,100 (if paid in full by 1st December 2019)
IADM+English – £12,900 or £11,610 (if paid in full by 1st December 2019)
10% fee reduction each year of a BA (Hons) degree (providing that the fee is paid in full and in advance by the set deadline)
What you'll study
This course is taught over 23 weeks and starts on Monday 7th January 2019. You’ll study full-time for three days a week and have access to the library and AUB campus for independent study on the other days of the week. The course is split into two stages – an exploratory stage and a more specialised stage.

After graduating in 1981 I was a freelance photographer latterly in Bristol until 1990 when I became Photographer in Residence at Whitchurch Psychiatric Hospital, Cardiff for South East Wales Arts. From this point I began to focus on two areas of my practice, lecturing and gallery/publication based fine art photographic practice.
