Caroline Johnson

Visiting Tutor

Caroline has a BA Hons Degree in Commercial Photography and many years of extensive experience in a wide range of photography genres, within commercial and personal work.

Caroline has lectured at the Arts University Bournemouth since 2015. She particularly enjoys being part of the team delivering the Intensive Foundation Diploma course, developing confidence through creative experimentation. Leading to the students fulfilling their potential and progress in their creative direction and education.

As well as working as a commercial photographer, Caroline’s exhibited personal project work focuses on story telling through her imagery. This has resulted in the intimate and insightfully sensitive story telling of previously taboo and very sensitive projects.

Most recently Caroline was chosen to be a participant in a photography residency which included international renowned photographers such as Jem Southam, Susan Derges, Sian Bonnell and Jason Evans.
