Staff on the course

Our teaching staff are specialists in their fields. You can read more about their research interests and their experience by exploring their profiles below.

The Fine Art team have extensive experience in exhibiting, curating and writing about art. They have strong partnerships with various local and national organisations that support students in their professional development.

It is important for students to maintain an outward facing approach to practice, and the provision of ArtSway, a contemporary visual arts venue in the New Forest has seen a wide range of successful projects and activities since its inclusion across the MA offer, and affords them an opportunity to contextualise their experiences at AUB.

We also work closely with Arts Bournemouth and are very proud to have Aspex Gallery, Portsmouth and the New Art Centre at Roche Court, Salisbury as our industry partners. Through these partnerships students and staff are able to access expertise, support for exhibiting and engage in projects and events such as the Venice Biennale and the Arts by the Sea Festival.
