Fran Norton

Visiting Lecturer

Fran Norton is an artist, writer and researcher lecturing in contemporary art practice and theory on various Fine Art, Illustration and Drawing courses to Masters level.

Recently awarded a doctorate (subject to corrections), her practice-based PhD used drawing to articulate the concept of home in the context of increasing human migration and mobility. Originally graduating in Design, Fran went on to postgraduate study in Fine Art at Byam Shaw, Central St Martins, UAL and Arts University Bournemouth.

Her extensive professional experience of working in creative industries such as theatre, film, photography and the music business, enriches the support she offers to Fine Art and Illustration students at AUB, coordinating their Personal and Professional Development through the written element of the MA, the Professional Development Portfolio.
