Industry Placements

The course initiates a range of opportunities for students to gain experience with regional and local galleries, nursing homes, museums and schools.

These have included Bournemouth School, the Russell Cotes Galleries & Museum, The Kube, Poole, and ArtSway in the New Forest. Some projects involve cross course collaboration such as Hide, an annual week long project between Fine Art and Architecture students.

The course encourages students to enter a range of international competitions that the tutors initiate, such as the Hans Brinker Painting Prize in Amsterdam and The Camouflage video art competition in Milan.
