Third year BA (Hons) Film Production students have won three titles at the Kodak/Nahemi Student Commercial awards, including the Overall Winner prize for their commercial ‘The Greatest Adventure of All’.

‘The Greatest Adventure of All’ tells the story of an aspiring female astronaut who is seriously ill. In an advertisement for the British charity Rays of Sunshine the students wanted to convey the mission of the organisation; to grant wishes of sick children.

As a charity that depends entirely on the donations of everyday people, they focused on the young girl’s neighbourhood coming together as a community to build her a rocket ship.

Third year student Lewis Bayley was the Producer for the film. He said:

“When you join the Bournemouth Film School at AUB you hear about the Kodak Nahemi competition and look in awe as you watch entries of previous students from AUB and film schools around the UK.

Flashing forward three years and my team and I are walking up on stage to shake Sir Alan Parker’s hand and receive the overall winner trophy.

A surreal moment for us and a great way to graduate and leave our trophy for the university as part of its legacy.”

‘The Greatest Adventure of All’ won prizes for the Rays of Sunshine brief, Best Production Design and Overall Winner. Read more about the Kodak/Nahemi awards.
