Third year BA (Hons) Fine Art students paid a visit to Hauser and Wirth, Somerset.
Credited as being number one in the Art Review’s ‘Power 100’ list of influential figures in international art, Hauser and Wirth opened a gallery in an old model farm in Bruton, Somerset in 2014.
The students visited to see exhibitions by the renowned photojournalist Don McCullin and a group show curated by Simon Morrissey. They also met Debbie and Bryony from the gallery, who gave a fascinating talk on the business and ambitions of Hauser and Wirth.
Students grabbed the opportunity to find out more about the many career pathways available and get the inside track on how to get ahead in the artworld.
