BA (Hons) Fashion have had success at Graduate Fashion Week 2016.
Emily Reid won the Drapers Fashion Publication Award for her project ‘If Not Now’.
Emily tells us more: “When I found out I’d won the Publication Award, it took me about 30 seconds to realise what had happened. It’s a huge honour, I hope something does come from it. I have an interest in publications and I’d love to explore that further. Because the course is so broad, it allows you to try lots of different things. I think I could go into a lot of different areas. It’s a good way to finish! “
George Hollins was awarded the George at ASDA Catwalk to Store Award.
George used lace in an innovative and masculine way to create camouflage patterns on well cut Menswear garments. He was commended on the forward thinking approach to wearable garments and attention to considered menswear detailing.
