Cirque Bijou and Arts University Bournemouth have a successful history of working together. In 2012 they won award for the costumes created for the opening celebrations of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Events in Weymouth and Portland.

AUB  are excited to work with Cirque Bijou to provide their students an opportunity to design and create work that is able to develop their careers. David Wood, Level 6 Costume said:

It is a privilege to be interpreting the costume that Sarah has designed for the launch of Bristol as the European Green Capitol. The Aerial performers costume has both traditional and non-traditional elements that combine to create a piece of art that will light up the sky during the show. Making the costume has been a fantastic and challenging project and I look forward to seeing it in performance.”
