“I found out about the competition thanks to some printouts posted up on the wall near the studio, and I thought, why not give it a try? So I did thinking it would make good practice. The final 25 designs were decided by a panel of judges and when I saw that I got shortlisted I was so happy, for me that was already more than I expected. I had told my parents about it and they were thrilled, they even flew all the way from Barcelona just to be with me at the SMINT event.

Seeing my work there on display in London was already more than I could ask for and everyone´s designs were so lovely, I didn’t think I had a chance.  When I heard my name being called for first place, I couldn’t help but cry of joy, I couldn’t believe it! I am only in my first year of Graphics!  The best thing about winning is going to be seeing my design in shops, thinking about it just makes me want to cry all over again!”
