Saturday 12 December 2015 – Saturday 09 January 2016
Poole’s Centre for the Arts, Lighthouse, is currently hosting a special exhibition of work created and curated by BA (Hons) Architecture students from AUB.
Entitled Music Architecture Poole (MAP), the exhibition is the fifth in a continuing series of annual external AUB Exhibitions lead curated by Channa Vithana, Senior Lecturer – BA (Hons) Architecture.
MAP 2015 is curated by third year BA (Hons) Architecture Students Alice Hewitt, Paul Richardson, Emily Riddiough and Lucy Steeden and features second year degree work from the 2014-2015 academic year which has its basis in Poole, Dorset.
Since 2011, AUB Architecture has enjoyed a special relationship with Lighthouse where MAP analyses and explores cities, towns, music and the positive engagement architecture has with questions of the future relating to social, economic and climate changes that affect people.
MAP encourages students to interrogate and reflect upon the geographical, political and social conditions which lead to the formation of cities and towns across the world.
