2nd year BA (Hons) Architecture student Lucy Steeden visited Cophenhagan to visit Danish brick makers Petersen TEGL.

Lucy contacted Petersen TEGL who sponsored her research visit. She told us:

“I took a tour of the factory where the D range of bricks are made, where the whole process was explained whilst walking around this large factory building. Firstly, I was shown the mounds of clay and where the raw material is excavated during the summer and piled outside the entrance to the factory.

Petersen also offer exact colours and forms at customers request. This is what makes Petersen Tegl a successful company, they are constantly looking to develop and push the boundaries of brick technology.”
