BA (Hons) Visual Effects Design and Production second year student Zack Mccarthy has been selected for Framestore’s highly competitive internship this summer.

Based in the London head office studio, Zack will become part of the creative team giving him invaluable first-hand industry experience.

BA (Hons) Visual Effects Design and Production tutor Jonathan Turner said:

“We are delighted to announce that second year student Zack Mccarthy has secured a place on Framestore’s highly competitive Digital Matte Painting internship. The internship will allow Zack to work on Digital Matte Paintings, as part of Framestore’s environments team, amongst other artists and on current shows.

Framestore’s internships are paid positions with full accommodation provided for the whole term – in short it’s a great opportunity.”

Zack previously worked as a Paint and Roto artist on the Marvel film Dr Strange, at Framestore’s Bournemouth office last summer at the end of his first year of studies.
