Poole based company, Celebration Crackers, visited AUB in December to work on an exciting Christmas project.

First year BA (Hons) Architecture and BA (Hons) Textiles students collaborated on a live project tasking them with designing new crackers with the luxury cracker company.

AUB alumni Kate Mills and Vicky Eastwood, Kate a Foundation Diploma graduate and Vicky a Textiles graduate, both now work for Celebration Crackers.

Celebration Crackers started in Devon over thirty years ago around a family kitchen table and for the past ten years has been based in Poole. They create a new brochure every year consisting of a variety of ranges, and they also provide a bespoke cracker making design service for both UK and mass production in China, which makes Celebration unique from other cracker manufacturers.

Their bespoke products can be found in many outlets including Harrods, Fortnum and Mason, The Conran Shop, and TK MAXX.

Celebration Crackers were delighted to work with the Textiles and Architecture students this Christmas, and were thrilled with the results of the project.
