The exhibition showcases and celebrates the diverse creative practices of students, bringing together 300 works en masse.
Roland Dry, Pathway Leader for Illustration said: “The work will stem from the highly creative first stage of the foundation diploma. During this stage, students learn about and question progression opportunities whilst simultaneously exploring the fundamental principles of art, design and media practice. Additionally, students heighten their creative skills through making highly experimental, lateral and thoughtful work. It should be a very good show and we are looking forward to sharing the foundation work with the wider public.“
There will be 3 x £50 prizes
- postcard that “stands out from the crowd”
- postcard that evidences the most “risk taking and lateral thinking”
- top of the public vote
Opening night: Wednesday 21st October.
You can view the work from 21st – 28th October at Sixty Million Postcards, 19-21 Exeter Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH2 5AF.
