Sound recordist and BA (Hons) Film Production alumnus, Simon Bysshe, is part of a sound team that won a Royal Television Society award.

The team was nominated in the Royal Television Society’s ‘Best Sound’ category in the Craft & Design Awards for their work on the crime drama television series,The Tunnel: Sabotage. 

The award ceremony took place on the 28th November 2016.

Commenting on their decision, the Jury said: “The Sound Effects set the mood. Naked dialogue worked with huge dynamics and a very delicate mix to create intimacy but with scale.”

Simon graduated from The Arts Institute at Bournemouth in 2006. Since then, he has worked on high profile TV drama Peaky Blinders,The Hurt Locker and The Lady in the Van.
