Thursday 17th – Saturday 19th May 2018
This unmissable production, directed by Lee Hart, will be performed at Bournemouth’s Pavilion Dance South West, supported by live music and bold visual storytelling.
Inspired by the work of Pablo Neruda and Gabriel García Márquez, Fermented Honey tells the story of an unfortunate young girl, the daughter of a reclusive nobleman, who is bitten by a dog.
Combining past, present and future, this arduous tale about a girl caught in a war between the old and new world, is told from the confines of the Santa Clara asylum for female lunatics. The performance explores themes of unrequited love, tortured longing, isolation and repression.
