BA (Hons) Photography graduate, Radha Datta, was featured in Vogue India this month in response to her eye-opening photography project with non-profit organisation (NGO), Kranti.
Based in Mumbai, Kranti is a NGO shelter that empowers girls from red-light areas to become ‘agents of positive change’, by providing a healing home, education, and personalised opportunities.
Last week, the AUB community came together to honour exemplary members of staff at the AUBSU Thank You Awards.
The AUBSU Thank You Awards were presented by Students’ Union President, Beth Rubery, and Vice President, Ezra Evans. These annual awards allow students to recognise the hard work of staff.
A portrait by AUB student, Lauren Forster has been recognised by British Journal of Photography (BJP). Lauren is an Associate Lecturer in Photography and Lens Based Media on the Diploma in Art and Design – Foundation Studies (Media) course, in addition to being a student on the MA Commercial Photography course
‘DAD IN UNIFORM’
This month, MA Commercial Photography student, Megan Winstone was highlighted as one of the ’35 Photographers to Watch’ by contemporary online photography platform, LensCulture.
Megan was chosen from an impressive list of female curators, photo editors, program directors, and photographers for the feature, which was created in honour of International Women’s Day on 8th March.
